Bambu Lab A1 3D Printer
The A1 is the A1 Mini grown up. Same easy, self-levelling, no-nonsense printing — but with a 256mm cubed build volume, which is where most of the models you actually want to print live. Full-size helmets, large functional parts, tall vases, multi-part prints in one go.
If you've been sizing up the Mini and quietly wondering whether 180mm will be enough, it probably won't be. This is the one to buy.
Free filament with printer
Add PLA Basic to your cart alongside the printer and we'll take it off automatically at checkout — 3 free spools with either configuration. No code needed. Pick whichever colours you like.
Which one should I get?
| A1 | Combo | |
| Colours per print | 1 | Up to 4 |
| AMS Lite included | — | Yes |
| Free PLA Basic | 3 spools | 3 spools |
| Price | $425 | $625 |
The $200 question is whether you want multi-colour. AMS Lite handles up to four filaments and swaps between them mid-print — that's what makes text, logos and two-tone models possible. Buying it later as a separate add-on costs more than taking the Combo now.
A1 or A1 Mini?
Build volume is the whole difference: 256 × 256 × 256mm here against 180mm cubed on the Mini — roughly 2.9× the printable space. The A1 also runs a hotter bed at 100°C, a larger 3.5in screen, and hardened steel extruder gears.
Everything else is familiar: same 500 mm/s toolhead, same auto-levelling, same one-touch calibration. If your prints keep bumping into the Mini's walls, this is the upgrade.
What's included
A1 — A1 3D Printer, plus 3× PLA Basic free.
A1 Combo — A1 3D Printer, AMS Lite, plus 3× PLA Basic free.
Filament it likes
PLA, PETG and TPU run beautifully with no modifications — that covers the vast majority of what people print.
Carbon and glass fibre reinforced filaments will print well too, but they're abrasive and will chew through a stainless steel nozzle. Upgrade to a hardened steel hotend first — we stock them.
ABS, ASA, PC and PA aren't recommended. The A1 is open-frame, and those materials need an enclosure to stop them warping. If that's your use case, this isn't the machine.
Warranty & support
1 year from date of purchase, handled by Convergent Systems Pte Ltd, Bambu Lab's authorised service partner in Singapore.
We don't offer paid setup — you genuinely won't need it, the printer walks you through calibration itself. But if you get stuck on settings, slicer profiles or a print that won't behave, ask us. Happy to help.
Delivery & collection
This is a large, heavy box. Self-collection is free and worth considering — otherwise delivery falls into our heaviest band.
