Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro
The AMS 2 Pro is Bambu Lab's second-generation automatic material system: four spools, multi-colour and multi-material printing, and a sealed chamber that dries filament at up to 65°C while it stores it.
In Singapore's humidity the drying matters as much as the colours. An open spool starts absorbing moisture the day you unwrap it. The AMS 2 Pro keeps spools airtight between prints, and when you do dry, an electromagnetic vent lets the moisture out while the spools turn slowly for an even result. Bambu filaments are recognised by RFID, so the right drying settings load themselves.
Feeding is faster too — a brushless servo motor feeds filament about 60% faster, and snapped filament can be cleared from the top without taking the unit apart.

Worth knowing
Drying needs the printer. The AMS 2 Pro dries while connected to a powered-on printer by its 6-pin cable; it doesn't dry on its own. The full 65°C is reached when the room is above 25°C.
Higher-temperature materials — ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PET and the fibre-filled filaments — need more heat than the AMS 2 Pro gives to dry completely. For those, an AMS HT is the better dryer.
Fits
Every Bambu Lab printer, but some need extra parts, sold separately:
H2S, H2D, H2C, P2S and X2D — connect directly, and the printer powers one AMS 2 Pro for drying. Each additional unit you want drying at the same time needs its own Switching Adapter.
A1, P1 and X1 series — need Bambu's connection accessories (Upgrade Kit with Hub, or the A1 Hub Buffer), plus a Switching Adapter per AMS 2 Pro to dry. Ask us which parts your printer needs before you order.
Note: Drying while printing is supported on some models with up-to-date firmware.
What's included
AMS 2 Pro unit, desiccant, PTFE tubes (2 × 185mm, 2 × 225mm, 1 × 900mm) and a 6-pin Bambu Bus cable. Filament shown in the photos is sold separately.
