Bambu Lab PAHT-CF Filament 1.75mm
High-temperature carbon-fibre nylon, built on PA12 rather than PA6 — and that difference is the whole point of it. It gives you most of PA6-CF's strength, better toughness, higher heat resistance, and it keeps working when it's damp.
Bambu's suggested uses are functional prototypes, machining fixtures, injection moulds, jigs and low-volume production parts.
If you're choosing between the two nylons in Singapore, this is usually the one. Water absorption is 0.88% against PA6-CF's 2.35%, and Bambu state it has been optimised to retain its mechanical properties when wet. PA6-CF is stronger on paper but loses over a third of its bending strength once it picks up moisture.
Enclosure and a hardened nozzle. 45–60°C chamber, and a hardened steel nozzle with 0.6mm recommended. It will not run in the AMS Lite, but unlike the other carbon-fibre nylons it is fully compatible with the AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT.

PAHT-CF against PA6-CF
| PAHT-CF | PA6-CF | |
| Water absorption | 0.88% | 2.35% |
| Impact, notched | 22.8 kJ/m² | 13.4 kJ/m² |
| Heat deflection | 170°C | 164°C |
| Tensile strength | 92 MPa | 102 MPa |
| Bending strength | 125 MPa | 151 MPa |
PA6-CF wins on raw strength by about 10–20%, in the dry state. PAHT-CF wins on toughness, heat, and — crucially here — humidity tolerance. Unless your part is going somewhere air-conditioned and you'll keep the spool in a dry box religiously, PAHT-CF will give you the more reliable result.
Printing it well
Glue is required on the plate; the Cool Plate SuperTack is not compatible.
Layer bonding is better than most carbon-filled materials — Bambu call it out as enhanced Z-bonding, and the figures support it: tensile 47 MPa across layers against 92 in plane, a ratio of about half where PC FR manages only a third. Still orient sensibly, but it is more forgiving.
Use Support for PA/PET — specified by name for this material.
Keep the fan low: 0–40%, lower than most. Nylon needs to cool slowly to bond well.
Annealing: 80–130°C for 6 to 12 hours, endorsed by Bambu.
Storage
Bambu specifies under 20% RH, sealed with desiccant, and 80°C for 8–12 hours to dry. It is far more tolerant than PA6-CF, but it is still a nylon — dry it before anything that matters.
