Silica Desiccant Beads (Orange Indicator)

Filament pulls moisture out of the air faster than most people expect — PETG and nylon especially. Once it's absorbed enough, you'll see it before you diagnose it: stringing, popping and crackling as steam escapes mid-print, and a rough, frosted finish instead of a clean one. Desiccant in your storage box or dry box is the cheapest insurance against all of it.

Orange-indicating silica gel beads: bright orange when dry, shifting to a duller, darker tone as they saturate with moisture — so you can see at a glance when it's time to recharge them, no test strips or guesswork.

What's included

500g of silica gel beads, packed in a resealable, moisture-proof bag.

Reusable

Once saturated, dry the beads out in a low oven or dehydrator until the colour returns to bright orange, then they're good to reuse. Check your oven's lowest setting against the product packaging before drying a full batch.

Fits

Works in any filament dry box, airtight storage tub or vacuum bag — not printer-specific.

Warranty & support

Consumable, so general use isn't covered — but a bag that arrives damaged or short-filled, we'll replace.
